It's time to dig, set, spike and play Maitland!

Now's the time to give volleyball a go.  Learn how to dig, set, spike, serve and block, make new friends, and enjoy this non-contact, dynamic, ultimate team sport for players of all ages.

Maitland High School is the hub for volleyball in 2025! Entry is via the stairs or ramp on Pierce Street, opposite the carpark and cricket nets.

Volleyball for U18 Juniors

TERM 3 - U18 JUNIOR SOCIAL COMPETITIONS
Games are played weekly from 5.00 - 6.15pm. Transition from skill development to competition with these Term 3 programs, aimed at developing your teamwork, communication, offence and defence.

U18 GIRLS
- Monday 28th July (Grading & Team formation) - NOMINATE HERE
- Monday 4th August Round 1, 22nd September Finals

U18 BOYS
- Wednesday 30th July (Grading & Team formation) - NOMINATE HERE
- Wednesday 6th July Round 1, 17th September Finals


Term 4 Ready Set Spike! Skill Development for Beginners

Learn the fundamental skills required to play this dynamic game, including the pass (dig), set, spike, serve, and the block. You will learn a new skill every week through high repetition activities, and each week you'll join them together, work with your teammates to create rallies and scoring opportunities, and find your big volleyball voice on the court!

Active Kids Vouchers can be redeemed for participating in this program.

MAITLAND WOMEN'S SOCIAL COMPETITION

The Maitland Women's Social Competition starts in July. Join us at the new player registration night on Monday 21st July as we form up teams, and then start competition on Monday 28th July, every week to 22nd September!

MIXED RECREATIONAL COMPETITION
Adults it's your turn to hit the court with friends and play a round robin competition season, with prizes for the finalists. Nominate as an individual or nominate your Mixed team (minimum 8 players, with 2 women on court at all times).
As well as competing, everyone will get to learn how to referee a game, score, and be a linesperson for the full experience of being a volleyballer.
