Special General Meeting - Outcomes

The Committee of Hunter Volleyball Inc (HV)  held its Special General Meeting of the Association on Tuesday 12th November at 6.45pm.

It was resolved by a majority vote of members in attendance, that HV would not affiliate with Volleyball NSW from 1 January 2025.

This decision has been made by and for the members with the view to directing and investing members' funds within the region for the region, while continuing to advocate for regional players throughout NSW to receive support and resources from Volleyball NSW as promised in Strategic Plans, Affiliation and Membership portfolios.

Hunter Volleyball will continue to promote Volleyball NSW opportunities for players and officials, encouraging any member keen to engage with services and offerings to do so and expand their participation range beyond the Hunter as they choose to, as part of the growing national volleyball community.

The amended Hunter Volleyball Inc. Constitution will be published online shortly, following the lodgement of the proposed changes submitted to the Department of Fair Trading, as required by all Incorporated Associations.
